Following are the awards and recognitions for institute between 2015-2020 for extension, service and outreach activity by various department as well as individual faculties for their service and extension to the society
- Institution has been recognized as SIRO by DSIR, Government of India (2013-2023). Based on this several academic and industrial projects have been awarded by ICMR, DST, DBT to the institution for addressing the health care needs of community.
- Hospital was recognized by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, through QCI (Quality Council of India) for the year 2019-20, for promotion of hygiene, cleanliness and infection control and contribution for quality Health care (Kayakalp guidelines).
- Hospital was recognized for its community engagement ‘Excellence in Community Engagement-2020’ by Association of Health Care providers (India).
- Hospital was recognized by Government of Karnataka as health workplace ‘AROGYA’ in the year 2017.
- Department of Community Medicine, was appreciated for the services rendered through “Indo-Sweden’ tele-geriatric project (ICMR-GoI), by Chikkaballapura District Health *& FamilyWelfare Office, Government of Karnataka.
Letters of appreciation was given for the services by following organizations

- Chaithanya Home for the aged, Kaiwara, Chikkaballapura District
- Institute was also appreciated by State institute of Health and Family welfare for providing clinical support for Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) program. Breastfeeding Promotion Network of India has appreciated Department of Community Medicine and Institute for its support for the Breast feeding promotion program during 2019 and 2020.
- Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences has appreciated, Department of Community Medicine for support in the health screening program of rural school children under the aegis of Divine Mother and Child Health program by Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospitals.
- Hospital was awarded with ‘STAR ICON-Emerging leader’ in Health Care by CII in 2019.
- Ramaiah hospital was recognized as Patients Friendly Hospital- 2019 by Association of Health Care providers (India).
