It is with great pleasure and pride that I welcome you to the Ramaiah Medical College website.
The ethos of the college is to continuously strive towards excellence. This sentiment has led to the receipt of NAAC A+ accreditation and a NIRF ranking of 46th. Further, both hospitals (Ramaiah Medical College Hospital and Ramaiah Memorial Hospital; with a total of more than 1340 beds) are NABH accredited and the laboratory is NABL accredited, all of which, are the pillars of clinical services for patient care.
We are immensely proud of our committed faculty who provide excellent clinical services, train students and nurture their comprehensive growth as empathetic and respected leaders in society.
We attract students of a high academic calibre. Their art, culture and sporting abilities are also given impetus during their stint in the college. We make concerted efforts to help improve individual talent and, at the same time, instil a sense of team work so that they succeed when they step out of the institution. It is also our endeavour to inculcate integrity among teaching faculty, non- teaching staff and students. Research inputs and logical outputs of the work of faculty and students are continuously increasing. Their steadfast efforts to bring out the best academic, cultural and sporting talents in our students has led to our alumni being distinguished and well known in India and abroad.
