Department of Community Medicine

The Department of Community Medicine is well known for its value-based education and contribution to all strata of the society. Through teaching and training, and service and research initiatives, the Department contributes significantly to developing empowered physicians of first contact. The teaching faculty are specialists in various domains with many of them holding additional degrees (DNB, NAMS and PhD). The department's extension activities involvs Swatch Bharat campaigns, 'Green campus drives', providing comprehensive health care to 4 old age homes, Research and health care waste management etc.
