The Critical Care Department at Ramaiah Medical College and Hospitals was formed in the year 2011 in collaboration with the emergency department. It slowly evolved to the present state functioning independently under the name of MSRCARE. We have one of the biggest ICU in South India consisting of 83 bedded state of art multi-disciplinary center encompassing Medical Intensive Care unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Isolation and High Dependency unit where Medical, Neurology, Oncology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Surgical and Trauma patients with complex and potentially life threatening conditions are managed 24*7.
