Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism is a much sought after programme at Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru, under the aegis of Ramaiah University of applied Sciences (RUAS). The Department of Endocrinology is the first in the state medical colleges and has been built by stalwarts in the field of endocrinology.

The current faculty of of endocrinology are continuing to contribute to the longstanding tradition of academic excellence, excellent personalised clinical care and are the leading research groups of the institute .

Our Endocrinology programme takes pride in the well roundness of the programme with curriculum that includes not just clinical care but preventative aspects of care , basics of clinical research and ability to communicate effectively to raise public awareness to combat the rising trend of non communicable endocrine conditions such as obesity and type 2 diabetes.
