Department of Neurology
The department of Neurology was started in the year 1988 and is growing in strength every year. The department has earned over the years a great reputation of being a centre of excellence in neuro care and also a centre for post graduate training in Neurology and has been offering DM Neurology course as a super-specialty teaching programme of 3 years duration since 2007. We offer specialty consultation in various sub-specialties of neurology.

The science of medicine behind the functioning and treatment of disorders related to the nervous system, It includes investigation, diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders like Parkinson's disease, brain infections, autoimmune neurologic disorders such as multiple sclerosis, sleep disorders, brain injury, headache disorders like migraine, tumours of the brain and dementias such as Alzheimer's disease.
The department of Neurology offers services in various subspecialties of neurology. Regularly we have Epilepsy clinics on Thursday, Parkinson’s Disease & Movement Disorders clinic on Tuesday, Stroke clinic on Wednesday and dementia clinics on Friday between 10 am to 1pm.
