The department of OBG established in the year, 1979, has been providing high quality patient care in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The department is highly appreciated for its emergency and high risk Obstetric care services.The department focuses on equal importance in imparting quality health education and experience for the medical students to nourish their all-round development including forming a firm basis of their medical attitude and ethics development in addition to skills development.All the faculty and students are provided adequate opportunities to do research in the field of interest. Student exchange programmes are in place with foreign universities like, Ghent and Groningen universities
