The department is primarily involved in undergraduate teaching of MBBS, BDS, BPT and BSc Nursing. Pathology department provides diagnostic services in Histopathology, Cytopathology, Hematology and Clinical Pathology, catering to patients of Ramaiah Medical College Hospital Bangalore

Seminar Halls

The department has 3 seminar halls with sitting capacity of 75, 50and 25 which are equipped with LCD Projectors with computer systems having internet connectivity.

Practical Halls

The department has two practical halls with capacity of 100 and 50 each. The student terminals have individual binocular self-illuminated microscopes. The hall is also equipped with projection monitors as teaching aids.

PG Research Laboratory

The department has a postgraduate research laboratory facility to promote research activities.

Audio Visual Aids

The department has three specialized microscopic teaching aids for advanced learning

Integrated museum

The Pathology department is supported by advanced integrated museum where rare and interesting specimens and mounted and displayed. The museum has developed a very meticulously maintained catalogues for easy understanding of integrated approach to the disease processes.

Blood Bank

The blood bank forms part of teaching training for UG and post graduates in Pathology. The blood bank is equipped with fully automated grouping and cross matching system, Chemiluminiscence for TTI disease screening, Apheresis systems and stem cell separation systems.
