Pharmacology is a science of medical drug and medication including a substance's origin, composition, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic use, and toxicology.
More specifically, it is the study of the interactions that occur between a living organism and chemicals that affect normal or abnormal biochemical function.

Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) Laboratory
The department has well equipped lab with 25 computers, audio visual aids with access to CAL software to learn experimental pharmacology through simulation.

Clinical Pharmacy Laboratory
The laboratory has samples of various Dosage forms and special drug delivery systems for Undergraduate training.

Simulation Mannikins
The department has Simulation Mannikins for providing hands on training on various routes of drug administration

PG research Laboratory
The department Research Laboratory is well equipped with instruments to carry out bioassays and various screening experiments.

Integrated Central Museum
The Department is also a part of the integrated central museum featuring an exclusive section on history of medicine. There is a wide assortment of crude drugs, models, charts and drug specimens covering various aspects of Pharmacology.

The Department has good collection of books, e-resources to facilitate undergraduate and postgraduate teaching learning activities.
