Collaborative research with various departments like Medicine, Cardiology, Endocrinology etc. have taken place which have received funding from prestigious organizations like including ICMR and RGUHS.
Autonomic function tests non-invasively evaluate the severity and distribution of autonomic failure. The Cardiac Autonomic Function tests are highly sensitive and specific in detecting subclinical dysautonomia, and are widely being used for research and diagnosis in different clinical scenarios.
The department conducted various research and educational activities like the CME on “Assessment of Autonomic Functions and its Clinical Relevance” which was received with much fervor amongst the audience.
