The Department of Radiodiagnosis, is one of the most important health care service providers in our hospital and plays a vital role in both early diagnosis and therapeutic procedures catering to all branches in medicine
We also offer nationally recognized post-graduate courses to train residents and conducts research programmes to push the barriers in imaging and advance in medicine.
Our wide array of machines enable us to perform a diverse range of imaging and procedures which include:
- Routine Radiography
- Procedures under fluoroscopy such as retrograde urethrography, micturating cystourethrography, intravenous pyelography, hysterosalpingography, barium studies, sialography, cholangiography, cisternography, dacryocystography and phlebography.
- Mammography
- Obstetric ultrasonography and doppler studies which includes dating scans, Nuchal Transluceny-Nasal Bone (NTNB) scan, anomaly scan, interval growth scans, obstetric doppler, 3D and 4D obstetric imaging to assess fetal well being, biophysical profile and to detect fetal abnormalities.
Ultrasonological assessment of the abdomen and pelvis to detect pathology of abdominal organs or organ injury in a trauma setting.

Intervention
We provide image- guided therapeutic and diagnostic procedures such as:
- Ultrasound / CT guided biopsises of the thyroid gland, breast, liver and renal, and also chest, mediastinal and pleural and nodal biopsies and other tumoral lesions for diagnostic purposes.
- We also perform guided femoral catherizations, arterial embolizations and , Hepato-biliary procedures such as PTBD, PTC and TACE.
