DLCO measures the transfer of CO across the alveolar-capillary membrane. DLCO can be used in identification and assessment of wide range of disease processes affecting lung parenchyma, and pulmonary vascular bed. Over 150 pulmonary function tests (Spirometry + DLCO) have been done in our department in a month.
