Started the department of Surgical Oncology in Ramaiah Medical College & Hospitals since 1996. Since then there is progressive growth in the department. Published more than 60 articles in various national and international Journals. He has been the guiding light behind the start of Surgical Oncology department and its progress. He is an associate editor of Indian Journal of Surgical Oncology since 10 Years
