The Department of Urology at Ramaiah Medical College offers full-fledged urology care to patients in the state of Karnataka and the neighbouring states. We provides the best in urologic patient care to more than 20,000 patients each year. We subscribe to and provide a multidisciplinary approach to some of the most challenging urologic disorders It provides comprehensive state-of-the art medical and surgical treatment for common urological problems. We offer patient care in all aspects of adult and pediatric urology, including cancer, voiding dysfunction and incontinence, infections, stones, trauma, congenital anomalies, upper tract obstruction, and urinary tract reconstruction. We have expert surgeons in open, endoscopic and minimally invasive approaches to these conditions.. Residents have the opportunity to train in a variety of clinical setting, and to experience the breadth of urologic medical and surgical care.
The Department of Urology offers a postgraduate MCh training program approved by the Medical Council of India designed to prepare selected Residents to evaluate, understand, and manage medical and surgical aspects of genitourinary disorders. Our trainees are exposed to academic urology and we also provide a unique exposure to a private urologic practice
