Completed under graduation from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar from in 2009 and later completed my postgraduation (MD Forensic Medicine) from MSRMC in 2014. As a faculty, my research goals are in the fields of Toxicology and Sudden Natural Deaths. Areas of interests are Forensic ballistics, Forensic Science and Sudden natural deaths. An active member of the Collaborative Child Response Unit, Medicolegal Cell and Anti ragging committee. Authored 17 publications in various International and National Forensic Medicine journals.

Peer Reviewer and editorial board member of Indian Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology. Presented many scientific papers and posters at various conferences, chaired academic sessions, delivered guest lectures and won the Best Scientific Poster award in State Level KAMLS conference held at KIMS, Bangalore in Nov 2012. An active member of the KAMLS (Karnataka Medico-legal Society) since 2011 and the Executive Committee Member of KAMLS since 2022.
