Graduated from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli, in the year 2004 and pursued post-graduation, MD in Forensic Medicine from this prestigious institute in the year 2008 and DNB from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in the year 2009. I was awarded MNAMS in the year 2010. I am currently working as Professor of Forensic Medicine in this prestigious Ramaiah Medical College. As a faculty, I have been trained in Basic Revised course in Medical Education, Biomedical Research and CISP. Teaching and research are my passion. My research fields of interest are sudden death, time since death and homicides. I am currently active members of the various Medico-legal Associations.

I have authored more than 50 research articles in national and international journals and one book titled “Study of Pattern of homicidal deaths: An autopsy study”- Lambert academic publishing. Member of editorial board of journals for various international and national journals like Journal of Forensic Medicine and Legal Affair(JFLA), Peertechz Journal of Forensic Science and Technology(PJFMMS), Palgo Journal of Forensic Medicine and Medical Science, AJFS –ARC Journal of Forensic Sciences, Medico-legal update etc. and in reviewer panel of various international and national journals viz. Journal of Forensic Research, Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine(JFLM), Science PG Review, Medicine Science and the Law, Journal of Forensic Sciences(JOFS), Indian Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Medicolegal update etc. Presented scientific papers at various state/national conferences and won the best podium presentation award in KAMLS conference and had received letter of appreciation from Commissioner of police for the valuable contribution in solving a mysterious case of homicide.
