Double degree holder (MD, D.N.B) with 14 years 9 months of teaching experience ( 8years 7 months as Associate Professor at MSRMC + 3years 5 months as Assistant Professor at MSRMC + 2years 3 months as Assistant Professor at PESIMSR + 7 months senior residency in JIPMER ) and 37 publications ( 20 original / research articles + 16 case reports + letter to editor. A member of Central Research Laboratory at M.S.Ramaiah Medical College involved in interpretation of light microscopy and immunofluorescence patterns of renal biopsies and ANA profile. Underwent ICMR sponsored short term Fellowship/ Training in Nephropathology under Human Recourse Development for Health Research (DHR/HRD/Fellowship/28/35976/13-14) at Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Centre & Dr. H.L Trivedi Institute of Transplantation Sciences, Ahmadabad, Gujarat. Underwent training at “Cytologic Techniques and Interpretation” at St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore. Post graduate guide for 5 MD dissertations and Guide for 1 undergraduate STS ICMR Project. Has many oral paper and poster presentations at national and international CME’s. Completed the research project titled “Histopathological evaluation of renal allograft biopsies with emphasis on the role of C4d immunohistochemistry in the diagnosis of humoral rejection, funded by Department of Health Research , Ministry of Health Research, ICMR and procured grant of Rs. 1372298/- for the project.
