Dr. K.C. Gurudev is one of the senior most nephrologist with over 30 years of experience in the field of Nephrology. He was trained under Padmabhushan Dr. M.K.Mani at Apollo Hospital, Chennai. He was responsible for starting the nephrology services in Mysore city in the year 1991. He was the first person to do renal transplantation outside Bangalore city in the year 1993. He has been associated with more than 500 kidney transplants since then. He is passionate about teaching both undergraduate and post graduate students. He is the examiner for DM and DNB (nephrology) students. Currently, he is the Senior Professor in the Department of Nephrology and President of Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, Bangalore.
