After completing my Masters in General Surgery from Indira Gandhi Medical College, which is the apex referral and trauma center of Himachal Pradesh, I joined as Senior Resident in General Surgery in MS Ramaiah Medical College. I have managed all kinds of emergency and elective patients presenting to the hospital, performing open and laparoscopic surgeries independently. I have a good rapport with postgraduate and undergraduate students, guiding them in their personal and surgical skill enhancement as well as in their research and academics. I have ongoing two research projects which have cleared ethical clearance and will be completing by 2024. I actively take part in academic discussions in the teaching programs in the department. In 2022, I have completed a Fellowship in IAGES.
