Dr. Prasanna Kumar T, Associate Professor , is responsible for teaching medical students and residents about Respiratory System anatomy, physiology, diseases, investigation tools and management of diseases.
As a Consultant Pulmonologist, provides consultation to patients with Asthma, COPD, Lung Cancer, Sleep Apnoea’s , Pleural Diseases, airway and interstitial lung diseases with appropriate diagnostic tests and treatment plans.
He is actively involved in Tuberculosis care and management including drug resistant tuberculosis treatment
He is actively involved in bronchoscopic and pleural interventional procedures
He is also involved in research projects, clinical trials and have published original articles in Scopus indexed National and International journals.
He coordinates with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
He ensures and maintains high quality standards in care and treatment of the patients.
