Dr. Rasmi has over 9 years of experience in treating children's cancer, blood disorders and performing bone marrow transplantation. Her clinical interests include malignancies and benign blood disorders in children and young adults. She is trained in performing hematopoietic stem cell transplant for malignant conditions as well as benign blood disorders and immunodeficiencies. Her research interests are epidemiological studies and quality improvement projects focusing on adolescent and young adult cancer patients. has contributed immensely towards the growth of the pediatric oncology subdivision and the pediatric bone marrow transplantation program under the Centre of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation (CHBMT) in the institute. She was instrumental in creating a funding process for the financially poor patients in our hospital who required bone marrow transplantation after collaborating with various NGOs. She is a member of the quality management team of the CHBMT unit and is working closely with the FACT India working group to obtain accreditation for the transplant unit.
