Have been involved in teaching MBBS students of phase II, PG guide for 8 students till date. Involved in teaching 2nd year BDS, B Sc Nursing & BPT students. Also involved actively in reporting histopathology, hematology, cytology slides in hospital. Have special interest in oncopathology and alimentary tract pathology cases. Is NAAC co-ordinator for the department, in-charge for Clinical pathology for NABL, member of student research committee and criterion 1 committee for NAAC. Has been involved actively in administrative activities concerning maintaining of exam records, teaching schedules of MBBS for several years.

Has got awards for best presentation for clinical society meeting (intrainstitutional), womens day award in the year 2017. Has authored 26 publications to date in indexed national and international journals. Is Life member of Karnataka Chapter of Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists.
