Department of Radio Diagnosis
Dr. Umesh Krishnamurthy is currently Professor and Head of the department of Radiodiagnosis. He completed his MBBS from KIMS (Bangalore University) in 1990, DMRD and MD from JJM Medical College Davanagere 1994 and 1995. He has been a faculty of Ramaiah Medical College since 2011.
He has teaching experience of more than 27 years and has delivered more than 150 lectures in various conferences and CMEs of ICRI and Radiological Subspecialities since 1995.
He is an external examiner for MDRD, DMRD, DNB(Radiology), Ph. D and BSc Medical Imaging technology at other Medical Universities as well as for the National Board of Examinations.
He has been a MCI inspector and assessor. He has good experience in basic radiology, radiological procedures, ultrasound and colour Doppler, and non-vascular interventional radiology.
