Mr.Shivaraj NS, Associate professor- Biostatistics, Department of Community Medicine, graduated from Yuvaraja’s College, Mysore and post-graduation from Manasagangothri, Mysore University. He is working in Ramaiah Medical college since 2004. He has more than 22 years of professional experience in teaching & supporting undergraduates, postgraduates, faculty and Ph.D. scholar of medical, dental, pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing & Engineering disciplines in their research activities. He has conducted & coordinated the SPSS software workshop for the biomedical fraternity.

He is involved in 4 large scale public health projects like Health Care waste management – Funded by UNIDO, Heart rescue India project – funded by (UIC, Illinois, USA), Stroke registry and Stroke rehabilitation projects – Funded by  ICMR, India  & Tuberculosis drug reaction- Funded by RGUHS. He has more than 32 publications in indexed journals to his credit. He was awarded a fellowship to carry out his doctoral training programme at the University of Tampere, Finland and successfully completed International Postgraduate Program in Epidemiology and presently pursuing Ph.D.
