The department of General Medicine at Ramaiah Medical College hospital provides related to all medical illnesses.
The department strives to provide high quality and excellent clinical care with empathy and compassion and this depicts our commitment to redefine healthcare goals in the constantly changing demographic landscape of the country.
We provide a comprehensive, round the clock coverage of OPDs, emergencies and critical care units.
The department is involved in the care of all medical illness, critically ill patients from all over Karnataka and neighboring states. The clinical activities of the department include OPD services, clinical rounds, in-patient care and ICU services. Our ICUs are well equipped. Specialty clinics like Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Hypertension, Hematology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology and Geriatrics are available in the department, in coordination with respective super specialties.
Geriatric clinic is one of the highly specialized specialty clinic of the department which offers comprehensive geriatric assessment. Comprehensive geriatric services are provided with 20% concession for OPD and IPD services. Geriatrics immunization program is one of the highlights of the geriatrics services.
