I would like to share my experience at Ramaiah Medical College Hospital with regards to the treatment that my father received. Last month, my dad suffered a brain stroke and was also diagnosed with kidney and lung problems. Needless to say, it was a very difficult time for my family.

One year ago, I had met with an accident in Tamil Nadu. I had severe back pain and was not able to properly move my arms and legs, they felt weak. I was not able to walk normally. Being the sole breadwinner in my family, I could not earn to provide for my single mother. I was told on medical examination that I have congenital scoliosis with a cobb angle of 60-degree angle and the accident had aggravated my condition causing compression of my spinal cord.

I had been to many of the best hospitals in the state and was turned away because I was told that I would require surgery and with a lot of complications and no guarantee of positive outcome on my lower limb power.

I kept looking for a solution and that's when someone suggested I go to Ramaiah Hospital, where Dr. Ravikumar T V, the spine surgeon, had seen me in Ramaiah, he patiently explained my condition to me in detail and also the options we have at hand. He gave me the courage to go ahead with the surgery that I needed.

I underwent spine surgery where they had put screws and rods in my back with no complications and along with the correction of my scoliosis. My recovery was smooth and I'm now pain-free with no weakness and able to carry out my work and daily activities without any problem. I had a great support and motivation given from the Physio Department in Ramaiah. I am extremely thankful to Dr. Ravikumar and the entire team at Ramaiah for healing me and helping me lead a normal life again when every other place turned their back on me.

Ward cleaning and maintenance is very nice. Fan, water and other facilities are nice. Very good patient care. All sisters are behaving very friendly and like family members. Sisters are very active, doctors also very nice. Each rounds, Doctors are explaining patient condition, surgery experience they explained each and everything about surgery advantages and complications also. Billing also compared to other hospital very less.
